Umpire Training ICC Level 1
Anyone can begin their umpiring journey straight away. However, to access the face-to-face modules, candidates must first complete the online process. Only after receiving certificates for both the Foundation Course and Umpire Course Level 1 will they be eligible to take part in the face-to-face modules.
Below are the steps & link to complete the Umpiring level 1 course:
- Register via Ed App: ICC Training and Education (Note: the foundation course does not require a code)
- Complete the ICC Foundation Course (The full online course must be completed before you move to next step)
- Complete the Umpire Course Level 1 (5 online modules before the face-to-face)
- Once steps 1-3 are completed then you can participate in the face-to-face
If you have not completed BOTH the Foundation and Level 1 Online elements, you CANNOT participate in the face-to-face course.
The face-to-face course runs from 9am-5pm over two full days and you will be required to carry out practical work so please dress in trainers and sportswear. Dates will be advertised on the NWCU website then Face to Face sessions are organised.
