Warriors Women announce strong Squad for two T20 matches
The North West have named a strong Warriors’ Women team for this week’s T20 Challenge against their NCU counterparts at Sandel Lodge, Coleraine.
The teams will contest two matches, both on Wednesday, the first of them at 11am and the second scheduled to start around 3pm.
There’s a solid look to the local side which is headed by former Irish International Julie Logue. The wicketkeeper/batter is still leading from the front with her home club Burndennett and Julie has plenty of quality in the squad to call upon this week.
Jemma Rankin is another welcome return to the fold while Fox Lodge are well represented with four players named- Sarah Black, Mollie Devine, Kara Bates and Angel Laird.
In-form Strabane pair Anji McPorter and Chloe Deans also make the cut alongside Bready pair Rankin and Alana Dalzell.
Rea Moore and Megan McClintock are the Eglinton representatives while Logue’s clubmate Kasey Laird makes up the panel.
The NWCU wishes to extend congratulations to all those selected and will be following the girls’ progress throughout the day.
