Under-13 Boys beat Leinster but pipped for Series win
A very successful under-13 Future Series ended with a win for the young Warriors as they edged out Leinster at Foyle College on Friday afternoon.
Wednesday’s narrow 2-wicket defeat by the NCU was to prove costly in terms of an outright triumph; the Belfast side winning all three of their games to take the honours.
Ardmore’s Bobby Brolly scored his second successive half century in Friday’s match with Neelanch adding 20 in a total of 128.
Biju claimed 3-16 in his 4 overs however the Leinster lads could only muster 89 all out in reply.
Prathan Goud-Sama (3-14), Swarnim Jha (3-20), Neelanch (2-2) and skipper Brolly (2-5) shared the wickets in a winning end to an impressive week for the local side.
