U15 Warriors Training Squad Announced

The NWCU have named their U15 Warriors training squad for 2019/20.

After a number of open sessions in October, the coaches have settled on a 19-strong squad. The squad will participate in weekly skills sessions, weekly S&C training, skill specific workshops and training camps in an 8-month period to May 2020.

After a successful Interprovincial series in 2019, Head Coach David Scanlon, expressed his delight and congratulations to the boys selected:

The NWCU have developed a great programme over the last few years and Peter, Gary and I are looking forward to working with the boys over the winter months.

We had a pretty successful season in 2019 in the Interpro series where we finished runners-up in both the 50-over and T2o comps. We encourage the boys to work hard but to really enjoy the game too.

It’s also pleasing to see the players develop their skills and bring that back into the club game. We have 9 clubs represented in our training squads and it’s encouraging to see the buy-in from parents, clubs and the players themselves.
