Rural Micro Captial Grants Open

The Department of Agriculture, Environment & Rural Affairs has opened their Micro Capital Grants scheme again for 2018. This program will be for between £200 and £1,500 and are available to rural community-led, voluntary organisations for projects tackling issues of local poverty and/or social isolation. Projects must focus on one of the following three themes:

  • Modernisation  (of building(s) / assets)
  • Information Communication Technology (ICT)
  • Health and Wellbeing

The Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme can offer grant aid from 50% up to 85% of the total cost of your project, between £200 and£1,500, the maximum available grant. NB: The total project cost must not exceed £3,000. Match funding for your 15% must be in the form of a ‘cash’ contribution.  Labour or ‘in-kind contributions will not be accepted. 

The closing date for applications is 4 pm Friday the 5th of October
