Results round-up from Day 1 of u-13 World Cup
Brilliant sunshine greeted the start of this years under-13 World Cup as the first ten games were played across five ‘host cities’.
England (Newbuildings), West Indies (Bready) and current champions Sri Lanka (Bonds Glen) lead the way with two wins from two after the first day.
Ireland (St Johnston), Australia (Donemana), Netherlands (Glendermott) and New Zealand (Eglinton) are also off the mark in what looks to be a very open competition.
The forecast for Tuesday looks excellent- games scheduled to start at the same times tomorrow at the five venues- Newbuildings, Brigade, Glendermott, Ardmore and Bready.
