Regional Under 11 and Under 13 training announced

The North West Cricket Union are pleased to announce the programs for the Under 11 (P5, P6 & P7 Classes) and the Under 13 (Year 8 & 9 Classes) training squads.

Both squads will be kick started with a introductory ‘Fun Day’ which will take place prior to any player officially signing up to either program.

David Scanlon & Kathyrn Rough are co-ordinating the programs, which will be supported and delivered by a number of local club and regional coaches. David commented ‘these age groups are arguably the most important in the current North West landscape & we are really excited to be offering this program to assist in increasing the skills of our youngsters while encouraging many more new players to get involved in the game’

David further explained ‘ this program follows on very well from the initiatives we are taking into schools at the minute and we hope that we have encouraged many more to get involved in cricket and make their way to both the clubs and the union over the coming weeks and months’
