NWCU announces upcoming cup final details

The NWCU has announced details of the first batch of domestic cup finals which are due to get under way at the end of this month.

First up is the Women’s senior final between Fox Lodge and Eglinton which will take place next Friday night (29 July) at Strabane Park with a 6.30pm start.

Bonds Glen have been earning rave reviews for the work going on up the Cullion Road and the Bee Gees will host the Faughan Valley final between Brigade and Newbuildings on Sunday week, 31 July.

The Sports Hub senior cup final is up next- Newbuildings and Fox Lodge will lock horns on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 August at Eglinton (11am starts on both days).

The Eric Cooke Cup final between Bready and Burndennett will be staged at the Bleachgreen on Sunday 14 August while the Sperrin Springs decider between Ardmore and Glendermott is provisionally set for Strabane Park the following Sunday (21 August).

The Sam Jeffrey Shield final between Coleraine and Brigade has been set for Burndennett on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 August.

At present the cup finals in Leagues 1-4 are still to be confirmed with venues to be decided once all semi-finals have been completed.

Provisional dates only have been set so far as follows-

League 1 final- Fri 19/Sat 20 August

League 2 final- Fri 26/Sat 27 August

League 3 final- Sat 20/Sun 21 August

League 4 final- Fri 2/Sat 3 September
