NW Women warm up for Interprovincial Test

The North West Women’s team warmed up for Sunday’s Interpro opener this weekend with a training game against the NW under-15 team at Bready last night.

Gavin Roulston made a half century for the boys who scored 115-4 in their 20 overs with Lucy Blair getting two wickets and Jemma Rankin and Sophie Killen one apiece.

The girls posted 62 in reply with Alan Dalzell top scoring with 17- Scott Macbeth and Cameron Block claiming two wickets each in what was a good workout for both teams.

It’s on now to that 40-over Interpro game against the NCU at Ardmore on Sunday (12 noon) for the North West girls. The squad has been selected for that one and is –
