North West under-17 girls squad named

The North West have named their under-17 girls squad for next week’s Interprovincial series against Leinster and the NCU. It is the first structured Interprovincial series for this age group and will see the girls play six T20’s over three days. Leinster will have two teams competing in the tournament.

The format is geared around the current covid restrictions and means the girls will play two matches against the same opponent each day- one at 11am and the other at 3pm. Details of the fixtures can be found below.

Four Eglinton players- Lucy Carmichael, Zara Craig, Arianna McKinney and Alice McLaughlin are named in the panel while there are three each from Fox Lodge (Lucy Neely, Kara Bates and Lucy Blair) and Coleraine (Eva Gaston and sisters Kenya and Kia McCartney.)
