North West seeking Expressions of Interest for Regional Coaching Programmes
The North West Cricket Union is currently seeking an Expression of Interest for those who would like to get involved in coaching young and developing players in the union.
If coaching is something you are passionate about and are keen to make a difference with young cricketers in the Union, then this may be the opportunity for you. Coaching experience is desirable but experience in having played cricket is essential. To initially get involved coaches must complete an Access NI vetting disclosure with the remaining qualifications and pre-requisites to be obtained as soon as practically possible with North West Cricket Union Support. The full list of requirements can be seen below:
- Access NI
- Cricket Coaching Course (CI coaching cricket or coaching kids)
- First Aid
- CICA membership
North West Head Coach & Pathway Manager Boyd Rankin commented,
‘This is an exciting opportunity for coaches to get involved, earn some extra income, pass on their knowledge and help produce the future North West based International cricketers of the future’.
As a NWCU regional coach you will coach alongside experienced international and provincial coaches whilst being provided with a range of resources to assist both the coach and players development.
Click here to get involved. Please note that an Expression of Interest does not guarantee an offer of a coaching position but will at least provide feedback.
