New Women’s Future Series launches in the North West this week

The inaugural Women’s Future Series starts in the North West this week involving teams from the NWCU, NCU and Cricket Leinster.

Coming straight off the back of a successful International Tri-Series at Bready, there will be more women’s cricket in the North West this week. This new series is designed to strengthen the pathway for women’s representative cricket and bridge the gap between club cricket and Super Series. It features 4 teams (North West Warriors, Leinster U17s, Leinster Futures and NCU Women), with international players excluded from playing in the new tournament. The matches will all be 40-overs.


The North West Warriors have named a squad of 15 for the 3-match series with Eglinton’s Zara Craig named as captain:
