Mayor makes “Pedal4Patto” presentation
The Mayor of Derry/Strabane Council, Brian Tierney has presented framed maps of the recent Pedal4Patto cycle to a trio of North West cricketers who completed the journey from Sion Mills Cricket Club to Muckamore club in the NCU.
Richard Curry, Andrew Riddles and Decker Curry were part of a relay that cycled across all the clubs in the North West, before the three of them headed across the Glenshane to meet up with their NCU counterparts.
Event organiser Bobby Rao and NWCU Chairman Brian Dougherty were at the Guildhall for yesterday’s presentation, and were joined by Brendan Patton (BP Cycles) who kindly sponsored the event which raised £5,200 for the charity.
