Long’s Supervalu Premier League Fixtures Released

Fixtures for the Long’s Supervalu Premier League have been released on the North West website today and there are plenty of interesting early tussles in store.

Last season’s top two in the Premier Division, Brigade and Eglinton, will meet on the opening day, 25 April, at Beechgrove. Andy Britton’s side will of course be without Gareth McKeegan and Johnny Thompson, both of whom have joined Newbuildings, however the reigning champions look certain to pose a huge threat to all once more.

Newly-promoted Ardmore will entertain Glendermott in Week 1 while Ballyspallen will start at home to Strabane.

Coleraine have landed a bit of a short straw with their first two matches of 2020 seeing the Bannsiders away to Donemana and then home to Brigade.

Bready are the first team left sitting on their hands owing to the 9-team league structure; Davy Scanlon’s men’s first game will be at home to ‘Spallen on 2nd May.
