Emerging Warriors squad to take on Munster Heat
Selectors have made a number of changes to the Emerging Warriors side that will take on Munster Heat in a Future Series T20 at North Kildare tomorrow (Thursday).
Regular skipper Jared Wilson is busy preparing his Newbuildings team for this weekend’s Sports Hub senior cup final and with Graham Kennedy unavailable as well, the captain’s armband will be worn by Ardmore’s Dhram Singh.
Fox Lodge skipper Aaron Heywood and Newbuildings bowler Trent McKeegan are also out due the the blue riband decider of course so there’s a fresh look to the travelling party.
Harry Zimmerman keeps his place in the twelve while Nathan McGuire adds some bite to the top order.
Coleraine’s Matthew Hutchinson is in too with fellow Bannsider James Bell also making the trip south.
Tommy Orr is likely to take the gloves in what is clearly a young squad – teenagers Gavin Roulston and Scott Macbeth two of the more ‘experienced’ named in the panel.
Ballyspallen’s Stuart Kennedy is included having impressed at club level this season while Ryan Clarke, Josh Wilson and Eglinton’s Robert McFarland also get the nod.
