Emerging Warriors bid to build on Ireland Academy win

There’s another busy day of representative cricket across the North West today and ahead of Ireland Women’s Tri-series game against Pakistan at Bready (4pm) there are two Future Series T20’s for the Emerging Warriors at Ardmore.

Boyd Rankin’s charges posted an impressive 3-wicket win in yesterday’s high-scoring 50-over game against the Ireland Academy and it’s the same opponent first up this morning in the first of the T20’s.

Jared Wilson will skipper both sides, with the Ireland under-17’s providing the afternoon opposition and only a couple of personnel changes to contend with.

Strabane’s Conor Graham takes the gloves for both games while Scott Macbeth who batted superbly on Monday, will only play in the morning game. The Bready all-rounder’s place will be taken by Robbie Millar for the afternoon match.

Game 1 gets under way at 10.45am with the second match starting at 2.45pm.
