Early leaders in the batting and bowling stakes
As we head into All-Ireland weekend, Dylan Boyd has been keeping tabs for us on the individual performances across the senior competitions in the first few weeks of the season.
Some are more obvious than others; Ross Dougherty’s unbeaten double hundred against Letterkenny in the senior cup sees him leading the way in the early batting charts while ‘Johnsy’ sits at Number 19 but with an average of 106 having only been out once in his three knocks so far.
Charlie Downey leads the wicket-taking category with 13 already in the bag while Adam Walker has really impressed as well- his 10 wickets also coming in at under 10 runs apiece so far.
Hopefully Dylan will be updating the charts once a month throughout the summer- watch out for Comeback King Stephen Dunn working his way up the bowling rankings next time!
