Eight Clubs Upskill New Coaches

Eight clubs were represented on the recent Cricket Ireland Level 2 course held over the past four weekends in the North West Cricket Union.

Over the three weekends, the coaches developed their knowledge and skills in a number of areas. The coaches will now go onto work with their clubs and schools before their final assessments.

The Course organised and subsidised through the North West Cricket Unions Active Clubs Coordinator, Colin Manson, and the Derry Midweek League. The course was held in three venues (Bready Cricket Centre, Artigarvan Hall & The Vale Centre) over three weekends.

The course was lead by the North Wests Active Clubs Coordinator, Colin Manson, and Cricket Ireland Coach Development Manager, Michael Hingston, with specialist assistance from former National Development Manager, Tim Simmonite.
