Bready under-11s clinch league and cup double
Bready claimed the under-11 cup on Tuesday night following a 17-run win over Donemana in a cracking final at Killyclooney.
Ben Campbell made a superb 67 (5 fours) for the Magheramason side as they posted a total of 136-2 from their 20 overs.
Kartik added an unbeaten 30 (5 fours) and Zak Loughlin chipped in with 21, but the Holm side gave themselves a chance with some good knocks of their own.
Ollie Britton led the way with 43 (5 fours and a six) with Riley Boyd and Seth Rainey both making 19.
Bready’s bowlers kept their heads however and led by Harry Mutch (3-16) and Oliver Spence (2-20) the league winners managed to restrict Donemana to 119 in reply.
A great game in front of a crowd of more than 200 as Bready made it a full season unbeaten to finish as double winners.
