Coleraine Cricket Club is a section of the Coleraine Rugby Football, Cricket & Hockey Club based at Sandel Lodge, Coleraine, Northern Ireland. The club has a history in cricket going back to 1853 in the town, with Coleraine Cricket club competing in the “Senior” Leagues in the North West from 1971.

At present we have 2 adult teams and 3 youth teams playing in the leagues and cup competitions organised by the North West Cricket Union and the Derry Midweek League. Several of our junior members play at Interprovincial level, including for the North West Women’s Under 19s and a few very talented players are currently amongst the Ireland youth training squads.

In the 2020 season we hope to maintain our position in the Premier League for the 1st XI and gain promotion for our 2nd XI, with the introduction of yet more of our youth players into these senior teams.

Our Professional for the past 3 seasons, Graham Hume, is a South African fast bowler, who has made a major contribution to the Club fortunes and to the coaching of our youth teams.

Along with Graham, Coleraine has several highly rated youth coaches, who provide opportunities to train and compete for our young players in teams at Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 age groups. We also run an annual primary school programme which includes both soft and hard ball cricket for boys and girls as an introduction to cricket. In 2019 the new Smash It programme at Coleraine was held during a week in July to introduce under 8s to cricket.

Our ethos is to develop our youth players and provide opportunities for them to play with Coleraine and potentially at interprovincial and national levels.

We are a family orientated club with everyone contributing to our club’s and individual’s successes.
